This is actually just practice after I created some custom cogs in photoshop to use as background-decoration.
So I took those cogs and a fully shaded Fluttershy from another picture I've got in the works, mashed them all together, played around with some filters et voilā, suddenly I had myself a background. I just thought I'd share if anyone wants it... I'll probably update it/make a new one once I've gotten around to drawing steampunk Fluttershy.
Also, considering making the cogs available for download. What do you guys say?
